<p>Studied art at <a href="http://www.pratt.edu/">Pratt Institute</a>, <a href="http://www.theartstudentsleague.org/">Art Student&#8217;s League of New York</a> and the <a href="http://www.nyaa.edu/nyaa/index.html">New York Academy of Art</a>. Earned an MFA in painting at New York Academy of Art.</p>
<p>Is considered to be one of the first &#8220;Structuralist&#8221; filmmakers before that movement even began. Land eventually rejected structuralism and instead focused his filmmaking on comedy that typically played with language.</p>
