Notes: Real name: Kenneth Wilbur Anglemyer.

Wrote the best-selling, scandal-laced history Hollywood Babylon.

In 1969, he took out a full-page ad in Variety announcing his retirement from filmmaking. Although, eventually he continued to work on projects.

1996: Recipient of AFI’s Maya Deren Independent Film and Video Artists Award.
