Film in Focus has a new article up by Lunchfilm‘s Mike Plante called “Drawing on Inspiration: How to Make Animation With No Money,” which features brief profiles of a half-dozen independent animators. One of them is underground favorite Martha Colburn, who has also screened at Sundance and at tons of museums around the world. Plus, the article also doesn’t mention it, but the profile is accompanied by Colburn’s amazing music video for the art rock band Deerhoof’s “Wrong Time Capsule.” Oh, and Plante did once commission a film from Colburn for his famous Lunchfilm series.
